A corporate finance professional and specialty finance expert, Glenn helps mid-market companies raise capital to restructure or retire debt, attain financing for corporate growth and expansion, or restructure their existing program with their current lender. He works largely with companies in transportation, logistics, manufacturing, distribution, staffing, and security services.
Glenn applies his many years of experience in commercial equipment leasing, credit evaluation, and corporate management as well as his extensive contacts in lending institutions, specialty financing companies, and various professional services to help clients overcome liquidity issues and secure needed financing. His specialties are: debt restructuring, equipment leasing, asset-based lending, inventory financing, asset acquisition, and CFO services.
Through his consultative approach, Glenn works with our clients throughout the entire life of every transaction, ensuring that clients understand the financing expectations going out to market and helping work out the best financing solution for their needs.
Glenn has a BS in finance from St. Thomas Aquinas College.
Gregory Fitzgerald brings a wealth of banking experience to Pathway’s clients. He started his finance career with Citibank in 1979, where he worked for 25 years, then moved on to positions at HSBC and TD Bank. During the course of his career, Greg has worked with business owners and CFOs in the middle-market and small business segments. He recently established Step 1 Commercial Funding LLC, which enables him to provide a wide set of financing scenarios to Pathway clients.
A strong believer in giving back to the community, Greg has served on numerous non-profit boards of directors, including Family Service League, Education & Assistance Center, Girl Scouts of Nassau, Suffolk Community Council, and the Pederson-Krag Center for Mental Health. He is also past president of the Rotary Club of Huntington, where he focused their 42 members on the human and economic needs of their local community. Presently, Greg serves on the boards of Long Island Cares/The Harry Chapin Food Bank and Girls Incorporated of LI.
Greg resides in Huntington, New York with his wife M.J. and enjoys spending time with their two grandsons and gatherings with their blended family. His is a member of the Huntington Choral Society and likes to travel and golf.
Christopher V.L. Giffuni, a Director of Pathway Capital, brings his vast experience to our client financial lending and debt refinance activities. As a certified public accountant and founder of Giffuni & Young CPA, Chris is involved in client accounts from record keeping to the preparation of historical financial statements and related documents, such as business plans, projections, loan applications, and capital financing. He also regularly interacts with tax professionals, as the financial statements become an integral part of the tax return. Managing Director of Oberon Securities, he plays a part in the capital raise and debt refinance activities of business clients, and he is the co-founder, Managing Member, and Chief Operating Officer of Ameriteak Reforestation, LLC, which is a forestry plantation project establishment and management company in Central America.
Chris has advised and consulted with numerous companies, both publicly traded and privately held, on a variety of financial, accounting, computer, and investment issues. He has extensive experience in real estate, including the litigation and settlement of a portfolio of Manhattan apartment building encompassing a divestiture well in the eight figures. Chris' past experience includes positions at Deloitte and Touche, LLC; CFO of a large privately held electronics manufacturer; and co-founder and chief financial executive of a computer software start-up.
A licensed investment banker holding series 63 and 79 licenses, Chris has served on the board of directors of several public, private, and non-profit entities. His expertise in M&A transactions is often utilized by clients in buy side transactions during business expansion and sell side activities on an exit. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Alfred University.
For over 30 years, Gil Torres, who is Pathway Capital’s Managing Director, has worked in financial services in senior positions at Citibank, Santander Bank, Bank of America, and Merrill Lynch. He brings vast experience in commercial middle-market banking, asset-based lending, and equipment finance and leasing to our office. Gil's particular expertise in structuring transactions and negotiating with private equity and venture capital providers is crucial to our ability to help clients gain approval from lenders for credit facilities.
Gil has a bachelor’s degree from Fordham University. He is active in the community, supporting the Business Council of Westchester, Yonkers Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (founding member), Westchester Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and the Latino Business and Professional Networking group. He and his wife live in South Salem.
As the business development lead for Pathway Capital and our clients, Nicole applies her extensive and diverse experience in debt restructuring, leasing programs, lending and more. She understands what it takes to get the deal done and loves a good challenge, whether it’s putting together complex, hybrid deals comprising equity, debt and private bonds or restructuring unfavorable equipment leasing arrangements.
As an expert relationship builder, Nicole connects our clients with the right professionals and lenders to help their businesses thrive, and continually sources the meaningful professional partnerships that make Pathway Capital an expert is specialty financing programs.
Before joining Pathway Capital, Nicole worked in commercial lending, sales, residential mortgages, investor relations, music publishing, aviation, branding and marketing, and investment banking. Her employers and clients have included major corporations, national brands and regional organizations.
Elaine Hoffmann is an active business strategist and capital markets consultant focused on the real estate sector.
Having led the financing initiative for many commercial real estate projects in the U.S. and abroad, Elaine possesses a unique and broad skill set fostered through her expansive experience spanning multiple asset classes. In her work for major real estate companies over the past several years, she has acted in various capacities including capital raising, investment sales, re-positioning of office and industrial assets through leasing, and marketing. Currently, she is involved in financing projects for a variety of assets, including hospitality, multifamily and green space developments in excess of $800 million. She previously led the leasing and marketing for 4 million square feet at Equity Office and worked on several corporate initiatives for public and privately held REITs. Her experience in capital markets, real estate, asset management, sales and technology, joined with her passion for business development, has scaled many notable projects.
Elaine also worked as a strategist and business development lead with Megalytics, an emerging technology company, earning the firm a prestigious award from NRE/IMN for 2016 Innovation in Leasing Technology.
Tom Ravert brings 34 years of real estate, banking, valuation and finance experience to Pathway’s clients. In the course of his career, he served numerous executive and senior management roles including, Chief Lending Officer, Director of Portfolio Management, Chief Administrative Officer, Senior Loan Officer and Senior Appraiser for prominent money center banks and commercial loan originators such as J.P. Morgan Chase and Greystone Servicing.
Tom has an extensive credit and asset management background with extensive knowledge of originations, processing, underwriting, portfolio management, note sales and asset divestiture, loan servicing, collections, foreclosure, loan workout and OREO.
Tom has financed over 3,000 commercial real estate loans for more than $4 billion in a variety of property types and asset classes including multifamily, retail, office, industrial, hospitality and special purpose as well as construction projects and owner-occupied C&I loans throughout the United States.
Tom holds a Masters Degree in Real Estate Investment and Development, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management & Communication from Adelphi University, a Certified Financial Planner® Designation and a New York State General Real Estate Appraiser and Instructor Certifications.
